General Description : We are ever mindful that the United States is engaged in a Global War on Terrorism, a war it must and will win. Accordingly, the U.S. Air Force is undergoing a transformation in response to the new global landscape, emerging challenges, and enemies that use non-traditional methods of attack and war. The mission of this academy is to provide senior noncommissioned officers with the tools to more effectively lead others-to better lead the force-in an ever-changing military environment. We do this by providing current and highly effective military education in areas of advanced leadership and management. We conduct an innovative program for senior noncommissioned officers from across the U.S. Department of Defense and for selected senior enlisted members from allied nations.
