General Description | The Trinidad and Tobago Coat of Arms appears on the front of each denomination of notes together with a vignette of a local bird, while the reverse side showcases the Central Bank building and a scene that is integral to the economic life of the country. EACH denomination banknote when held up against the light will show an image of the same bird that features on the front of the note. |
Front Description | On the $1 an image of the Scarlet Ibis and a bright image of the TT1 are visible. Blue vertical numbering - both serial numbers have progressively larger digits. |
