General Description | The obverse side of this well used coin has a mark across it that I originally thought to be a die crack, after a comment from another person, a closer looked caused me to agree with their suspicion. It is a lamination caused by some impurity in the metal used to make the blanks prior to minting. A slight feathering was visible on the 8 in the 1988 date that really gave it away. |
