General Description This coin commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regiment. Around the edge of both sides is a beaded border. This is significant because in this coin there are 120 beads. There is another version with 132 beads, the other version is worth up to $200.00 and even a VG 8 is worth $40.
Obv. Description Featuring HRH Queen Elizabeth II in her young crowned pose. Elizabeth II is around the edge behind her head. D.G. Regina is in front of her around the edge.
Rev. Description On the back is a mounted RCMP Police officer in dress uniform carring the flag from the trademark Musical Ride that the RCMP does when on parade. Over the horse's head is a maple leaft and the denomination is behind the officer. Around the top is the word Canada. The horse divides the 1873-1973 dates.
