Rev. Description | This coin is set appart from other loonies because it features a Loon in Flight instead of the usual image of the loon swimming. The loon is just taking off from the water causing it to splash and there are trees in the background on the right. Above in text it say Canada with the double anniversary date 1987-1997. On the bottom is the denomination. The 11-sided edge is bordered by a ring of tiny beads. |
