General Description | Elizabeth II (1990-2002) The effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II changed in 1990 when she was 64 years old. This was the first effigy to be designed by a Canadian, Dora de Pédery-Hunt. P – From 2001-2006, most one cent, five cents, ten cents, twenty-five cents, and fifty cents issued for circulation were struck with a P Mint Mark to represent the Royal Canadian Mint’s plating process. 1982 to 1999 Composition: 75% copper, 25% nickel |
