General Description | The modern 1 cent coin features two maple leaves on the same twig, first used in 1937 and has remained unchanged with one exception,1967, slight change in the composition since 1942. Two version in 1947, this one and the one with a Maple Leaf next to the date announcing a change for 1948 |
