General Description | The coin was chosen through a televised contest involving a public phone in vote. The interpretation for the coin was engraved by Roberto Mauri and it includes the interconnected letters IR (Repubblica Italiana), the year is shown to the top right and the mint mark are shown to the bottom right of the statue. |
