General Description Set of three collector coins dedicated to 140 years since the establishment of military communications.

Description Military signallers in World War I installing telegraph, radio and telephone lines on a battlefield – reproduction after a metope on the Monument dedicated to the Heroes of the Combat Engineering Corps, known as “the Lion”, in Bucharest; the inscription “ROMANIA” in an arc; the coat of arms of Romania; the face value “1 LEU” and the year of issue “2013”.
Rev. Description A war telegraph carriage – a replica of a drawing by Sava Henția (1877); a military signaller in World War I reproduced after the statue on the Monument dedicated to the Heroes of the Combat Engineering Corps, known as “Lion”, in Bucharest; the inscriptions “1873” and “140 DE ANI”; on the outer ring, the inscription “TELECOMUNICATII MILITARE” in an arc.
