Obv. Description | The hair shows more detail of the curls and other items, which shows that it is a higher grade speciman. However, this coin has not been graded. Furthermore, the coin shows clear evidence of toning near the stars which circle the coin. This is further proof of the metal aging differently. this type of toning adds to the value. |
Rev. Description | See above. the toning is also clear on the reverse. The feathers of the eagle show more detail (more value) and some feathers near the neck of the bird. This all shows it is a higher grade breast of the bird does not show feathers, therefore the grade is higher with more detail, but not the highest. Please let me know if you wish me to send both images to you. |
