Back Description : | the reverse inscribed ‘PRAVDA VÍTEZÍ’ (Truth prevails) and dated ‘1939’. The medal was instituted on 20 December 1940 by the Czechoslovak government in exile in London to be awarded to members of the Czechoslovak armed forces for bravery in the face of the enemy. |
