General Description : | Silver Award. The medal was worn on a green pentagonal clasp 24 mm wide in the middle of a 5 mm wide vertical black-red-gold center strip is woven, in the upper left chest. The Medal of Merit of the organs of the Ministry of the Interior, was a national award of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). Donated the medal on 15 June 1966 in three levels, bronze, silver and gold. Their ceremony took place on merit and personal effort in increasing the public order and security. Further, for the protection of the construction of socialism in the GDR and the consolidation of the German People's Police and the Ministry of the Interior. The ceremony was performed on both individuals and collectives, which explicitly a multiple award, was also in the same stage, possible. |
