General Description : | Originally designed to reward the merit of people working in the arts, sciences, industry and agriculture. After almost four decades in the latter part of the reign of Charles I, was envisaged that the country's economic development presupposes a medal separate initiative to reward profitable (other than in agriculture). The High Royal Decree no. 4794/1912 was established medal "Commercial and Industrial" distinction divided into three classes. The medal is attached by a ring of green ribbon, crossed by a central yellow stripe. Unlike the "Cultural Merit" or "Agricultural Merit" medal "Commercial and Industrial" will not be filled by an order. |
