General Description : | Saint John the New Monastery (Romanian: Mănăstirea Sfântul Ioan cel Nou), dedicated to Saint John the New of Suceava, is a Romanian Orthodox monastery in Suceava, Romania. Built between 1514 and 1522, it is one of eight buildings that make up the churches of Moldavia UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is also listed as a historic monument by the country's Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs. |
