General Description | Numbered from 1 - 2 - 3, the number "1" being the most profficiant. The higher grade also brought a higher pay. The people who would have wore these were radio communications operators including those who worked with the Airforce Radar systems. Troops in this field would, after intial recruit training, have been further trained in this specialist field and would have had to sit examinations to determine their profficency, the badges were worn by communications personel in all branches of the service. |
