Originaly wings issued to award pilots with classification grades- Pilot-1 class, 2-class and 3-class according accumulated flight hours, disciplines performed and general flight experience.Class wings given to pilots along with `Pilot-Sniper` wing and classification of pilot indicated in special ID book.Blank wing with no class almost not used, but target for collectors of rare type wings. 3rd Class Pilots Wings: gilt brass with pale blue enamel shield bearing red enamel ?3? under a red enamel star.
