Situated on the banks of the St Lawrence river in the heart of Canada's spectacular 1000 Islands. Chamber of Commerce Conveniently located adjacent to Hwy 401 and on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, Gananoque is the entry point of the picturesque 1000 Islands. Close to Kingston, Brockville & Ottawa.
Gananoque is centrally located and easily accessed from Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal & USA: 1/2 way between Toronto and Montreal (170 miles / 275 km - just over 3 hours drive either direction) on Hwy 401 (exits 645 & 648 for Gananoque); 100 miles / 160 km ( 1 3/4 hours) south of Ottawa; 90 miles north (2hours) of Syracuse on Interstate 81. Cross the border at Ivy Lea International Bridge, west on the 1000 Islands Parkway to Gananoque.
