Front Description | Intensity and pervasiveness of autumn color tends to be best in the eastern parts of Canada; so, although, the western provinces have something to offer, if the sole purpose of your visit is to see fall foliage, Ontario, Quebec or the Maritime provinces are probably your best bet. The same trees that have made Canada famous for Maple Syrup are the ones that dominate the landscape with brilliant fall colours (colors) throughout the provinces. Each province will offer up their own version of the fall leaf changes during the colour season. The hardwood forests of central and north east Canada are some of the largest forested areas in the world. |
