| General Description | Saint-Louis Gate is built on rue Saint-Louis and whose location back to the late 17th century, although the present gate dates to 1878, when a more esthetically pleasing gate was built to replace the original. Like Saint-Jean Gate, the gates of Saint-Louis Gate had gates that were closed at night until they were removed in 1871. |
