General Description | Finished in 1680, it provided access to the old cabinet of curiosities, also called "the Rarities", where Louis XIV kept his artwork (this room is now the office games Louis XVI). The ceiling painted by René-Antoine Houasse present on the ledge of the most beautiful pieces that included the collection of the king. Some of these objects are now on display in the Galerie d'Apollon in the Louvre. In the evenings apartment, lounge Abundance served as buffet. The piece measures 8.65 meters to 7.56, under a ceiling height of 7.55 meters. |
