| General Description | The King's Road ( Königstraße) is the largest shopping street in the city of Duisburg. The northern side of the street located in the district of Duisburg-Old Town, the southern side of the road in Dellviertel district. The road has a pedestrian zone over about 600 meters from the railway station to Kuhlenwall, In addition to many small shops, the Forum Duisburg, the City Palace, the principal offices of Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Dresdner Bank and Sparkasse Duisburg and the district court of Duisburg. Among other things, stands on the King's Road the "Life Saver" by Niki de Saint Phalle, one of five fountain sculptures of different artist who is also considered one of the Duisburg landmark. |
