Front Description | Pavlovo Pole (rus: Pavlov's Field) is a residential community and a historical district of Kharkov. It is divided from the centre of the city by the Sarjin Yar (Sarjin Ravine). The disrict was given it's name after a well-known russian merchant Pavlov. He also owned a department store, which has given the name to the Pavlov's square (not existing nowadays). Pavlov owned much of the district in question, which was countryside that days. |
