General Description | St Andrews is a university town and former royal burgh on the east coast of Fife in Scotland. The town, which until the 10th c. was known as Kilrymont, is named after Saint Andrew the Apostle. The "-s" in St Andrews is not a possessive, representing Androis, the Older Scots form of Andrew. |
