| General Description : | The Basilica St. Martin in Halle (Flemish Brabant) is famous for the statue of the "Black Madonna", a statue from which is said it was given to the town by St. Elisabeth of Hungary. Many wonders are attributed to the Black Madonna and there are still many pilgrims who come to visit and to pray to that particular statue of Our Lady. |
