General Description : | Emiel Vliebergh was a Flemish lawyer and economist. He was president of Davidsfonds, a foundation that wanted to give more knowledge to the people. He was also a vice-president of the Belgische Boerenbond (Belgian Farmers Liga). He was professor at the Louvain University and gave his lessons in Dutch, which was exceptional at that time. Maurice Wilmotte was a Walloon romanist, who became professor in Roman languages at the University of Liège. |
