General Description : | Serie: 2, Type: R, Stamps in serie: 1 On the occasion of the inagurationa of airmail routes for the transkoprt of mail in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, Croatian Post Office and Telecommunication (HPT) issued a postage stamp for airmail between Zagreb and Split. The stamp had value of 2 dinar. Motif: The belfry of St. Dujmo’s cathedral with the detail from peristyle of Diocletian’s Palace in Split. HPT was offered commemorative "First Day Cover" as well as first day of issue cancellation ("Prvi dan") for sale and a commemorative sheet of paper. |
