General Description : | The Alfa Romeo story really begins in 1906, when the 'Societa Italiana Automobili Darracq' , a car company founded by Alexandre Darracq (a Frenchman and noted pioneer of automobile construction) decides to build a car factory in southern Italy to produce low cost, affordable cars. Alfa Romeo has been building cars since the beginning of the 20th Century. It continues to this day to produce classic designs with overtly sporting characteristics. |
