General Description : | Raszyn Transmitter is a facility for longwave broadcasting southly of Warsaw. It has a 335 metre tall guyed mast radiator as antenna, which was built in 1949 and which is insulated against ground. This mast was until 1962 the second tallest tower of Europe (the Blaw-Knox Tower at Vakarel, Bulgaria, built in 1937 was the tallest at those days). |
