General Description : | Most orchids have small flowers, some as small as 1/8 inch (3 mm). Others may have large, broad-petaled flowers up to nine inches (23 cm) across or threadlike petals that may range up to two feet (60 cm) from tip to tip. Only about 200 species of orchids are known to be self-pollinating. |
